I'm dumbfounded and lost...
Another story that has been upsetting me this week.
I'm sure people who haven't lived that era wouldn't understand.
I was right in it. In the rural town in Alabama. Oh I can tell you so many horrible stories. It is not time to be complacent about this yet. Yes, we can manage the disease but there is no cure. In stead of decreasing in number of new diagnosis, it is increasing in many industrialised countries including US. The healthcare cost for those who live with it is not as manageable as the disease now.
I came across this news and watched this movie again.
Just to remind myself where we were 20 years ago and the roads we all took to come this far.
We can't allow anyone to turn the clock back to those dark days.
